About

Birth/ Childhood: Clover was born a child of Ishgard to a family of blacksmiths. She has one twin brother and one younger brother. Growing up Clover was a quiet and withdrawn child with an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a particular interest in the natural world. Her family was poor and in the midst of the dragonsong war therefore had to rely on practicality and gil making endeavors above creative endeavors. This did not stop her from frequently wandering off and exploring in search of adventure or knowledge. This resulted in her having a strong grasp of the arcane starting at a young age.

Leaving Ishgard and the beginning of ARR: When the family business failed to bring enough gil to keep her family afloat, Clover decided to leave home to make money as a traveling mage to send back to her family. She set sail for Limsa Lominsa, where she heard tell of an arcanists guild. There she met a feisty au-ra girl named Anzu. This tiny fighter exuded confidence and vitality in a way Clover had never seen before. Serendipitously, Anzu seemed to be operating on a similar goal. Soon the two became inseparable.

Heavensward on: As Clover became involved in scion business that took her all around Eorzea and beyond she learned more and more ways to express herself and her interest in knowledge and creativity. On a spur of the moment trip back to Limsa Lominsa she happened across a traveling troupe of dancers and instantly fell in love with their quick and graceful style of battle and entertainment. In the months following Clover leaving home, her quiet and reserved attitude melted into that of a protective big sister with a tough outer shell. She has a secret soft spot for lighthearted stories and tales of romance.
